Questions people ask
Can you play at the National Waterfront Museum?
We can plan an entrance there, but landmark venues set their own rules. We ask the venue about access first.
Do you travel from Cardiff to Porthcawl?
Yes, it is about 23 miles. We agree the arrival time with you.
Are there sound limits at venues in Porthcawl?
Rules differ from venue to venue. Some have sound limiters or finish times, and some restrict outdoor processions. Give us the venue name and we check what applies and plan around it.
Can we have a baraat in Porthcawl?
Yes. Tell us the venue and where you want the procession to start and finish, and we plan the route, timings and arrival with you. Some venues only allow it in the car park or grounds, so we check first.
How far ahead should I book dhol players in Porthcawl?
As early as you can. Saturdays in the wedding season go first. If your date is close, send it anyway and we will tell you straight away whether we can cover it.
