How a baraat with dhol works
The baraat is the groom’s procession to the wedding venue, and live dhol is what turns the walk into a party. Our baraat package starts from £295 for two dhol players. See all dhol player prices.
Before the day we agree three things with you: where the baraat starts, the route it takes, and where it finishes. If the venue only allows a short procession in the car park or grounds, we plan for that.
Timings vary a lot. Read how long a baraat lasts and how to plan the dhol. Playing indoors afterwards? Check venue sound limits explained. Wondering about brass? See dhol players vs band baja.
Want a set or an entrance as well? The entrance and set package covers both with the same two players.
Pick your package
Pick the performance you want. Your final price depends on your location, the number of players, how long they play and your event, so send your date and venue and we confirm an exact quote. Need a bigger team? See dhol players by team size.

Questions people ask
What does the baraat package include?
Two vetted dhol players who lead the groom's procession to the venue. We agree the start time, route and finish point with you before the day.
How many dhol players do I need?
1 suits small, intimate events. 2 is the most popular choice for baraats, smaller venues and venues with sound restrictions. 4 is the most booked for wedding receptions. 8 or more suit big venues and stage presence, and 10 or more suit the grandest weddings. Tell us your venue and guest numbers and we will say what we would book.
Will the venue allow dhol?
Rules differ from venue to venue. Some have sound limiters or finish times, and some restrict outdoor processions. Give us the venue name and we check what applies and plan around it.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can. Saturdays in the wedding season go first. If your date is close, send it anyway and we will tell you straight away whether we can cover it.
What if the baraat starts late?
Tell us the likely start and finish times and we plan around them. We agree a start time with you before the day and keep in touch on it.
