Questions people ask
Is dhol allowed at Pylewell Park?
The venue's own site says live dhol is welcome. We still check the details with you and the venue.
Does Avington Park have a mandap?
Its listing says it does, along with outdoor space and an Orangery.
Are there sound limits at venues in Southampton?
Rules differ from venue to venue. Some have sound limiters or finish times, and some restrict outdoor processions. Give us the venue name and we check what applies and plan around it.
Can we have a baraat in Southampton?
Yes. Tell us the venue and where you want the procession to start and finish, and we plan the route, timings and arrival with you. Some venues only allow it in the car park or grounds, so we check first.
How far ahead should I book dhol players in Southampton?
As early as you can. Saturdays in the wedding season go first. If your date is close, send it anyway and we will tell you straight away whether we can cover it.
