What a professional dhol booking should include
Last updated 30 October 2026
A proper booking gives you written confirmation, a deposit receipt, insured players, someone to call and a team that arrives on time and works to your plan.
Written confirmation and a deposit
You should get a confirmation showing who is booked, the date, the slots and the price, plus a receipt for the deposit. That protects you if anything changes.
A person to talk to
You should be able to reach the office during planning and, closer to the day, the players themselves. Questions on timings and songs should take minutes.
Insurance
Every package includes public liability insurance, and venues can ask to see it.
Dress
Weddings are smart occasions. Players should not turn up in trainers and jeans. Tell us your dress code and we agree it beforehand.
Timekeeping and flexibility
The team should work from your itinerary, arrive early and play a mixed set for whatever crowd is in the room. They should also be comfortable working beside any DJ.
